Ditch Quicktime, adopt MPEG
and adopt a proper universal video format like MPEG, so that people on windows and linux don't have to deal with the pesky iTunes that comes with the default quicktime install or have to resort to buggy third party QT codecs

I plan to add an alternative format for Linux and Windows users while still providing the QuickTime version as well.

Textmate shortcuts
Can you make public (maybe you already did and I cant find it) the rails shortcuts you use in textmate. For example where you type a couple letters and it completes the method.

Make from a beginner-to-advanced video classes
You are good at explaining and displaying rails, make a chronologically ordered 'crash course' in rails from beginner to advanced, you can use most of the videos you already have.

A Lists of must see / essential Railscasts for Beginners
There are so many great railscasts that when I was a beginner I didn't know what to watch first, a couple of lists of essentials must see casts for beginners would have helped me out at the time, thought it might help others who are now in that position.

Ruby Interpreter
Several times I tried to implement an interpreter like http://tryruby.hobix.com/ but have no idea about how to do such session management and what classes to use at server end that behave like we are interacting with an IRB shell. I found similar implementations in Herokugarden Browser IDE too. Interface, Javascript and AJAX requests are not a problem for me but can we have a couple of episodes on its Rails implementation?

Make a video feed with psp-compatible mp4
There is an RSS feed with videos created especially for iPod, which are in mp4 container. The psp has a nice media rss reader feature (although it doesn't support text feeds (sic!)) that allows subscribing to media channel downloading videos from it and watching them on the psp. Unfortunately the iPod compatible videos don't work on psp (or maybe it is just my psp *cough*custom firmware 4.01*cough*). It would be great to have ability to view the screencasts on the go without all the conversion hassle.
The info on the codecs supported by psp can be found below:

Upcoming screencast poll
Create a poll for viewers to help you suggest the next screencast. It could even be based off the your feedback feed of the hottest items.

Creating a MultiPage Form for a Surveytool with Validations
I have seen complex forms, where plp create multiple models to validate each page. This is agreeable as each page will have different fields.
Now, If you consider a surveytool or questionnaire where questions will be generated by admin and wants to display them in different pages (say 1 question per page or a group of questions per page). How do create a model and do their validations ??
comments are welcome!

Upload Railscasts videos to Youtube for Streaming
It would be nice if there was an option to watch Railscasts videos on Youtube so we don't have to download them.

Working demos of episodes features?
It would be very useful having the features described in the episodes also implemented in railscasts's site or in mini-demo-apps...

Make Railscasts more often
I really enjoy Railscasts, and I would really appreciate having new ones more often.

premium casts with more consistent episodes
I saw that you used to create peepcode casts, but apparently no longer.
I believe that your screencasts are so good that you could start again with commercial casts.
It would be nice if these ones were collected in series (may I say courses?) with a common theme, and really advanced training.
Thanks a lot!3 votes -
intro to papermill
http://github.com/bbenezech/papermill#readme is very complex with lots of options. But it appears to be the way to go. Could you do a simple railscast or maybe a 2 part series Part 1- on simple image uploads using papermill and Part 2 - on more complex options of papermill?

Allow Sponsored Episode Suggestions with Escrow (or similar)
Allow for the Suggested episodes be sponsored/pledged, and even co-sponsored. So I might pledge $100 for a RailsCast about Rails 3 Engines using engineX, with a Engine DB and a seperate App DB, allow others to pledge more, but the cast goes to everyone!
